Rehearsals underway only 3 weeks to go!!

The cast have been working hard during rehearsals. The production has a number of musical numbers but it has some tricky routines, which will make it a very funny show.

Cinderella tickets go on sale this weekend 21st January

Yes the waiting’s over, tickets will be available this weekend at Hanslope News, Castlethorpe Post Office and the Box Office (01908 510709) for this year’s panto Cinderella.

Tickets are priced at £7.50 Adult, £5.00 for children up to 14 and £20.00 for a family ticket. You can save a few pounds if you want to come to the first night (15th February) £6.00 Adult, £4.00 for children and £15.00 for a family ticket.

So don’t delay

Panto rehearsals start on Friday (4th Nov)

The group will be meeting in Hanslope Village Hall this Friday at 8:00pm to read through the Cinderella script for next year’s panto. If you are a member of the group please spread the word. If you fancy joining the group, either as a member of the acting company or to help backstage – come along.

Last full rehearsal before the dress!

Last chance for Martin (the Director) to rehearse the full show before the dress rehearsal on Wednesday. Still a bit of tightening up to do, polish up the songs, learn the lines!! As they say I will be alright on the night.

Doors open at 7:00pm, curtian up 7:30pm

New Facebook page – please like it!

We have created a new Facebook page for the group so you can find out all about our productions, the times and ticket prices etc. Please us e the Facebook button on the side of the page to ‘like’ the page. We need to get 25 members to get our own Facebook account. So hit the button!!

New season announced

Our new season of productions has now been finalised.

The first of these will be at Hanslope Street Fayre, where we have been asked to repeat the very successful ‘Best dressed wheelbarrow’ competition. Last year’s winner was a very fine replica of a WW1 bi plane from Martin Palmer. At the Street Fayre there will also be a performance from the Hanslope Synchronised Swimming Team who are currently in training for the Olympics in 2032!

Our autumn musical extravaganza in October half term is the Dracula Rock Show. Those of you who remember our production of the Rocky Monster Show will know that this production will also be full great music, laughs and lots of audience reaction. It’s Dracula meets Shirley Holmes! Yes Shirley Holmes.

Later in the year we hope to be invited back for the ever popular Village Hall Wine Tasting. This is always great fun and we enjoy providing a backdrop to Charles Bennett’s passion, experience and knowledge around the world of wine.

 February half term will see our major production of the season – our Annual Family Pantomime – Oh yes it is!! This year’s production will be Cinderella

It’s all over – Oh yes it is!

What a great show. As far as audiences went it was one of the best shows ever, outselling all our expectations. The Friday matinee was completely sold out.
